The customer wanted to install new blinds on a skylight window. Considered several options, but was certain it needed to have blackout features.
Blinds blackout rooms when built to have an overlaying structure of vanes. Normally, the vanes leave small gaps between each other. Sunlight can stream through those slits and illuminate parts of the room. If you have a sun facing window, you can expect sunlight to enter very early in the morning. With blackout blinds, for skylights or regular windows, you can prevent that from happening when you close the blinds all the way. We installed the new blackout blinds for the skylight after providing the customer with a free estimate and measuring the size of the window.
