Vertical blinds are heavy, and can scrape up their sliders if you don’t pull them just right. Motorized vertical blinds avoid most of these issues.
Our customer needed more handicapped-friendly vertical blinds for his living room area’s long window. Motorized blinds were obviously the best option, but Mr. Daniels preferred old-fashioned remote controls and wall switches over smart technology. So, we helped him design a new set of vertical faux-wooden panel blinds. We removed the scraped-up old slider and replaced it with a new motorized sliding frame to mount the blinds on. The slider we set up uses a hybrid motorized system to open and close, to save power as well as wear and tear. We wired the motor into the wall, set up the remote controls, and handed Mr. Daniels the handset.
